The only visual difference between the High Brown Fritillary and the male Dark Green Fritillary (Argynnis aglaja)
 is that the former has pronounced dark orange bordered spots on each under-wing, they are otherwise
impossible to tell apart.  Once widespread, the High Brown Fritillary is now exceedingly rare in the UK.
